Our ranch is on the scenic Apple Hill Drive of the Sierra Nevada
foothills, where wild land forest and small farms meet. Just minutes from
Highway 50, we are equidistant from 19th century charming gold-rush era
towns and South Lake Tahoe resorts and mountain wilderness areas. Lakes,
mountain trails and rivers offer attractive destinations for many.

Autumn is a special time in Apple Hill. The crop is in, the fall colors
are out, and the days are crisp and invigorating. Families from near and
far visit the region in; some experiencing the excitement of their first
time on "The Hill", and others a time-honored excursion. Following the
"Apple Hill Scenic Drive", they tour Foothill wineries, orchards, bake shops
and other family attractions.
Our Ranch is "Number 68" on the Apple Hill tour. We're open every day
from Labor Day weekend through December 21. Please stop by!

| Enjoy the cheerful family atmosphere. Picnic in our orchard. We provide tables. But, sorry, no grills! Enjoy a hearty fall meal including a slice of pie or other baked treat, perhaps with a cup of gourmet coffee, on our terrace or, if the weather is nippy, inside by the pot-bellied stove. Take home a whole, fresh-baked pie. Stock up for the holidays with frozen pies, ready for you to bake fresh at home. We provide insulated bags that will keep your pies frozen while you drive home. Baking Instructions for frozen pies are placed in each insulated pie envelope. Take home a bag or box of your favorite variety of fresh-picked, crisp, locally grown organic apples. Select a favorite arts and crafts item from local artisans. |
