Rhubarb Apple Pie

This is our most beautiful dessert and, it tastes as good, some say better, than it looks! The gorgeous, hot pink rhubarb contributes its tartness to the sweet, well matured organic apples for a well-balanced flavor-treat nestled between flaky melt-in-your-mouth hand-made crusts.

  1. Preheat oven to 375° F and use lower rack for baking.
  2. Place frozen pie on cookie sheet or other suitable tray to catch juices.
  3. Bake for 30-35 minutes at 375° F.
  4. Lower temperature to 325/350° F (depends on your oven) and continue baking for additional 70-90 minutes.
  5. Pie is done when juices become thick and when knife inserts easily into center of pie.
